Organisatie
This international bank focuses on professional investors such as pension funds, insurers, and investment funds (listed and unlisted) and has an excellent reputation within the financial world. Its services include ensuring that institutional and professional investors comply with all applicable laws and regulations surrounding investment activities. You will join a rapidly growing international bank and a dynamic, stimulating, and instructive international working environment.
You will become part of a dynamic and enthusiastic Investment Services team, focusing on Custody Services. The bank holds securities on behalf of its clients around the world at local Central Securities Depositaries (CSD) and is responsible for, among others, administering ownership positions. The CSD takes securities into custody for the purpose of automatic settlement of securities transactions. An investor cannot do this himself and needs a CSD bank to do so. If an investor wants to buy or sell securities, the credit or debit is made from the portion the bank holds with a CSD. The bank’s job is to keep records in the investor’s name and ensure that payments can be made. The custody services of the bank provide direct connections to the local CSDs and their global network is covering 70 stock exchanges. The bank also manages assets, handles reporting, and ensures compliance with (tax) regulations.
The team you will join is spread over the Netherlands, France, and Luxembourg. You have a central role in coordinating custody activities of institutional investors. The Investment Services team reports directly to the Head of Operations in the Netherlands and the Global Head of Operations in Paris.
