For one of the largest Dutch banks in Utrecht, we are looking for a Junior Credit Risk Analyst.

 

Organization

For a major bank in Utrecht, we are seeking a Junior Credit Risk Analyst. This bank is a frontrunner in its focus on sustainable development and plays a key role in the Dutch economy. What makes the bank unique is its cooperative structure: customers are often also members, and part of the profit is reinvested into society. The bank has a significant impact both in the Netherlands and internationally, with activities in retail banking, wholesale banking, and the food and agricultural sector.

 

Function

You will be responsible for preparing reliable financial reports and delivering various reports to regulators. In addition, you will focus on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data. Thanks to your strong analytical and communication skills, you are able to connect different data sources and create clarity and insights. You will also identify opportunities to improve and optimize processes and propose enhancements.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and analyzing credit risk reports;
  • Working with Basel IV regulations;
  • Implementing and applying DNB guidelines;
  • Handling granular data and complex datasets;
  • Improving and optimizing reporting processes;
  • Managing stakeholders across different levels of the organization.

 

Requirements

You are able to clearly articulate your ideas, enjoy a fresh approach, and bring enthusiasm and perseverance.

Additionally, you have or are:

  • A university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s level);
  • Demonstrable affinity with working with Big Data;
  • A proactive and results-driven mindset;
  • Excellent communication skills in Dutch or English;
  • Flexible and stress-resistant;
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to switch quickly between projects;
  • Knowledge of or interest in financial products.
