Our client is looking for a driven and high-performing Analyst to strengthen its Investment Banking team in Amsterdam. This position has arisen due to the continued growth of the organization’s activities across the Benelux region and offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio, including corporates, financial sponsors, and high-growth companies. In this role, you will provide strategic advice and work on structured and leveraged financing solutions.

As an Associate, you will play a central role in the execution of transactions while gradually taking on greater responsibility in client interaction and business development.
Function
This role provides broad exposure to a diverse client base and emphasizes teamwork, continuous development, and long-term value creation.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the execution of advisory and financing transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets activities, and other strategic initiatives;
- Conducting financial analyses and valuation work to support client recommendations;
- Preparing high-quality client materials, including presentations, briefing notes, and transaction documentation;
- Assisting in managing transaction processes and coordinating with clients, advisors, and internal stakeholders;
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of client relationships through consistent, high-quality delivery;
- Conducting market and industry research to support strategic discussions and idea generation.

- A degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field;
- A master’s degree in any discipline, with a demonstrated interest in finance and strong analytical capabilities;
- Relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a similar environment;
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch is considered an advantage;
- Strong analytical skills, with a solid foundation in accounting and valuation methodologies;
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment;
- A team-oriented mindset with a proactive and responsible approach to work.
