Our client is an international advisory firm that assists companies with critical strategic decisions in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). With a team of experienced professionals and a global network, the firm assists businesses in navigating complex financial issues on a national and international level. The firm successfully assists clients through M&A processes by combining a personal approach with extensive market knowledge. You will be part of an open and informal organization, while you work closely with colleagues at all levels.
Function
At this international advisory firm, you will have the opportunity to further develop your talent as an M&A Associate in an environment where support, collaboration, and personal growth are central. In this firm, you will work on interesting (international) mergers and acquisitions, using your financial expertise to execute impactful transactions. In addition to structuring deals, you will play a crucial role in building strong client relationships and driving business development. You will also support interns and analysts. By supporting and coaching them, you will contribute to their development as well as to a positive, cohesive team. Together with experienced colleagues and partners, you will not only expand your network but also strengthen your skills within a culture where your contributions truly make an impact.
Requirements
To be successful as an M&A Associate, the following should apply:
- 3 – 5 years of relevant working experience in areas such as M&A, Private Equity, Debt Advisory, or Venture Capital;
- A Master’s degree;
- Ambitious, results-oriented, communicative, and commercial;
- Team-oriented and eager to work in (small) project teams;
- An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to manage projects;
- Motivated to build and maintain client relationships;
- Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).
