Our client is an international bank with offices in several European cities. You will be based at the headquarters in The Hague, where the organization operates within consultancy, finance, and investments for a broad client base ranging from corporates and financial institutions to investors, family businesses, and retail clients.
Within the bank, the Finance department plays an important role in ensuring compliance with laws and regulations related to financial and regulatory reporting. At the same time, the department focuses on delivering forward-looking insights and further developing a future-proof data landscape through data analysis and various IT tools.

Function
As a Junior Reporting & Data Analyst, you will be part of the Finance IT team, with a focus on Regulatory Reporting. You will support senior team members with AnaCredit- and liquidity-related reporting and contribute to financial reports (FINREP) and annual reports in accordance with regulations from supervisory authorities such as the ECB and DNB.
You will collaborate with various stakeholders across the bank’s Finance chain, including Business Intelligence, Data Integration, IT, Risk, and Corporate Banking. In addition, you will contribute to the automation and optimization of reporting processes while building knowledge of prudential and statistical reporting requirements.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting regulatory reporting activities, including AnaCredit and liquidity reporting;
- Translating business requirements into (SQL-)queries and technical solutions;
- Contributing to prudential and statistical reporting processes within the Finance department;
- Collaborating with the product owner and IT development team to further optimize reporting processes;
- Supporting automation initiatives and software/system updates;
- Participating in change and process optimization projects.
Requirements
To be a successful Junior Reporting & Data Analyst, you have or are:
- A Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Econometrics, or Accounting;
- 0–2 years of relevant working experience;
- Accurate and detail-oriented;
- Affinity with financial reporting;
- Strong communication skills and a real team player;
- Interest in IT applications and data warehouses;
- Proactive mindset and stress resistant;
- Solution-oriented thinking;
- Fluent in English.
